Contradiction in the Book
« on: January 09, 2021, 09:10:51 PM »
Many religious folks are against XXX (porn). In the book of Hosea, the prophet married to a prostitute and God allows that to happen.  ;D

You don't have to make "excuses" as you're a walking contradiction that's been called out left and right by the neutral members...Want to see proof??

That's not a contradiction. If I am to read it again and the entire book, from what I here from pastors is how a whole turns away from her old self to become a new. Not all whores are whores. Every sinner deserves a second chance if they want to and they really mean it at the bottom of their heart. Did you think the Bible is a book about nice people? My answer is no!

In the book, there's no passage that says God forgave the prostitute for what she has done to her beloved husband Hosea.  ::)
We just don't pretend it happened automatically correct. That'll be blasphemous.  :knuppel2:

I won't defend pornography, but if it is their choice to marry whore, the chances of having a good wife in that section is 10% out of 100.

 ???

If someone loves porn he/she shouldn't be a Christian in the first place.   :D

No, not true. There are two Mary in the Bible. The virgin Mary and the whore. She turned away from being a whore when Jesus tells the pharisees to stop being racist to whores; also, don't stick your nose into people's problems because that is yolkism. Discrimination against the root of the person is damn straight wrong because we have no right to set straight to a wrongful person.

I thought we suppose to stay on topic about Hosea's wife, Gomer, aka the prostitute and a cheater instead of the two Marys.

I wouldn't say anything about Jesus's biological mother Mary because she was born sinless not from David's genealogy. Her heritage got to be from someone else. Of course she got a holy spirit inside of her and she'll ascend to heaven automatically.
According to Mary Magdalene, she slept with married men instead of finding a single faithful man for herself. Sure she turned to a new leaf after she met Jesus. However, she's forgiven doesn't mean she's cleansed completely unless there were someone who's malice enough to tempt her and sway her away from straight, narrow, righteous path. She'll fall into dark hole and do same old habitual sins again.

Not sure you understand what I mean about religious people I mentioned in my earlier post. In U.S. these peeps (religious extremists) are similar to the Pharisees from the book you're hearing from the pastor's perspective.

Many religious folks are against XXX (porn). In the book of Hosea, the prophet married to a prostitute and God allows that to happen.  ;D

They have no rights to tell horny people to stop doing porn if they don't want to watch or associate with them. Since they're too perfect why just mind their own business and focus on their tasks to support their government. I hardly see pornstars going around in public asking for people to part-take in orgy. If they do cops will arrest them for illegal solicits. The U.S. is prudent according to their religious belief. I see too many preachers going around handing out mini bibles to the public and at same time doing dirty things behind close doors. Like Jimmy Baekker's infamous evangelical scandal on rape case for instance. Don't forget about Pope Francis's love interest with the Brazilian model.

Whores can be forgiven if they choose to. Forgiveness isn't free because if you broke someone's heart, you have to fix it. That's the price you have to pay. A lot of people will throw problems under the rug than to fix it.

Not all thugs dealing with illegal drugs and domestic abuses understand forgiveness. They'll keep on doing same old things after getting out of prison. No matter prison pass out bibles to them they don't read. No matter preachers came to visit and reads the verses to them they'll pretend they've changed but they don't. Bible don't have magical power to change their lives.  ::)
For instance, my older brother was a thug. He went to prison three times for vandalism and meth business. He doesn't show any appreciation when my parents send him money and clothes to him when he's in prison. After he got out of prison, he still doing those sh!iets (meth business) with some white crackheads. No matter how many times my parents told him not to he won't listen. No matter how many times they forgive him, he's still perpetual with no sign of remorse. Every month his probation officers (FBI agents) come checking on him if he still doing illegal activities. He forces me to lie for him that he's doing good job at abstaining from drugs. The FBI ain't buying his fake @$$ claim. Since summer 2020 he got arrested. Good riddance he ain't coming back home anymore. he's gone for good. I have another brother that doesn't understand forgiveness also. His wife despises him so much she doesn't want to see his face. Even his homewrecker girlfriend despises him for the domestic abuse he had done to her. No matter how many times he ask them they won't give forgive him because he always show 'perpetually' lying behavior. Even I don't want to waste forgiveness to him either. I agree with his wife and girlfriend.

What did Jesus said to his disciples? 'Want to be saved you must deny yourself and follow me'
DENY = admit your sinful nature and don't lie throughout the trials
FOLLOW = move forward to the light instead of looking back at old life

Forgiveness will be granted unless your mind and heart are aligned as good. Your heart is willing as zealot while your mind absorbing foods (Jesus's teaching)

They're not aligned when the mind lingering evil thoughts while the heart consuming uncontrollable desires. This is when Jesus see right through Judas Iscariot for instance.
