Still all talk, no walk 4 years later
« on: January 11, 2021, 05:28:50 PM »
It's not the nearly 2,000 miles of wall he had promised in 2016 but the 450-mile stretch of steel separating Mexico from the U.S. is up and President Trump is proud. He'll be heading to Alamo, Texas, just east of McAllen for a sort of last hoorah before the end of his term.

But some south Texans aren't exactly thrilled about his visit. COVID-19 is ravaging this area, with more than 2,200 deaths so far, a higher number than some of the biggest counties in Texas. Yet the president isn't there to talk about health.

“Instead of coming in and trying to comfort people - hey, I understand there's a problem with the roll out of the vaccine -- no -- he's going to come into Harlingen and talk about the border wall,” U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar said. “His priorities are wrong.”

..the $15 billion bill for the wall he had promised Mexico would pay but never did.

"Incomplete" and a total FAILURE:

President Trump made his final visit as president to tour his incomplete border wall in Alamo, Texas. Trump spoke about the 450 miles of wall built during his time in office and even signed a plaque with his name on it that is fixed to the wall.

That's his character, he lies and exaggerates.
