Are you pro-active or re-active?

I'm mostly pro-active. For example, I don't wait til things break and then re-act to it by fixing it. If it shows sign or wear and tear close to the point of replacement, I fix it before it breaks..Sure there are incidents where we can't control it but I've tried to take the pro-active route as much as possible.. O0

The pressure gauge still works but I can tell it's close to the end so I just replace it:

And like caulking, try to get as much of the old glue out before putting on new one:

I decided to replace the valve too as it looks old..*IMPORTANT*: before gluing the valve casing to the PVC pipes, take out the valve first so the glue doesn't accidently get on it  O0:
