I gave away 18 old rods and 12 old reels with lines.

These went to some relatives. I first texted three people and one turned me down. One didn't respond. The third said he wanted them all. I gave them all to him. Then the second one responded and said she wanted them all, too. So, I told her I already gave them away but that I had two left for her. I gave her two of my back-ups just to please her and her husband.

Among those I gave away was a Daiwa baitcast rod that I have never learned how to use. It's been sitting in the closet for five years. A few Abu Garcia fast action rods, etc.

House feels much more spacious now.

I have just two left now for me. Three reels and two poles total.

I know. Didn't know I had accumulated so many over the years. I only needed one. But I guess I kept forgetting I had some at home each time I saw new ones at the sporting goods stores.

Fishing is a expensive sports
Gas, travel, hotel, food, license, bait, gear, etc..
Than fishing itself... nothing is given... might or might not catch any

I saw they sell fillet walleye for $10 a bag
Probably like 20 pieces in them
If you just want to eat fish
Just buy it at the stores

Sportsmanship is great! It's worth every penny spent on it.

I just like to fish for whitebass
They are my favorite fish
Taste good, fun to catch, and plentiful

I can catch cooler and cooler of them by the bucket

Eat fresh. Catch two to four and bring home. Eat those up and go back for fresh ones.

You'll be healthier and feel better about yourselves. Both you and your wife.
