You're family get sick.. some will die.... you will get sick ... gout might get you... anything bad can happen ... there are many things.... Choose to be one.... even if you go to church... because Christ cannot help when you're around spirits.... chapter 1 will conclude for now...

its a super natural gift... pretty much, you have to be members in your family that was born with it, and it'll carry on 1 generation to the next and so on...

I was a shaman at 21 years old. I didn't get sick or anything just felt really strange. My arms and legs and so on was moving by themselves without me known. There was no time to sleep, because whenever i close my eyes to sleep i would see another world. It was like I was living in two different life. At first I got scared since nobody know that I was going to be a shaman. I took me 5 years to fully recover and restore my alter. It's good. I know that there is a lot of crappy shaman out there. But all shaman will need to use the same rules. Most of my services are free. Just drop by if you need help or need to seek something. I'll be glad to help. I am Nee Yu Man i use really old style like back in the china times.

i know a few people who has chosen to be one. my boyfriend said that his grandpa told him that he's the one who has to be it. that they had chosen him to do it but he doesn't want to do that kind of stuff. and also, i heard from one of my cousin that this girl is chosen to be one and that she doesn't want to do that too. and like these ghost spirits thingy would always follow her. i mean, if it was me i would hate to do it too but what can you do about it? it's not like you can get out of it right?

Hey "soadorableme" the only way to get out of not to be a shaman is to eat Dog meat. Then your spirt will got away forever. But if you were smart you shouldn't, because you don't really know what is like to be a shaman. It's better to be, then not to be.

When you are pre-destined to become a shaman, there's no escape. You can send the neeb back but they'll keep calling you back. Going to church, getting baptized isn't going to help either.
I don't understand why the chosen ones don't accept the gift 'cause it'll help a lot of people.

I guess those kinds of gifts come with a lot of consequences.. . I know of ONE man who was chosen to be a shaman... and he came from a long line of shaman, but somehow his lineage of dag neeg and a guest one were in conflict... even though he answered the call and was rasied as a shaman, he still got really sick. He was going to die and they have a lot of kids, so his family sought outside help... they tried several different churches and pastors, until they came to our pastor... and whenever he came to the pastor's house, he is ok... he ended up staying with the Pastor for 3 months straight. After he got better, he and his family moved to live in the same town as the Pastor... it has been many years and he is now one of the elders in our church and is a very very strong Christian. I know a few other Christians who used to be Shamans also... but no longer.

i don't think this works because my aunt she converted herself to a christian, but it was a mere tempoary situation only. she got really sick, she almost died. now she's a shawoman and is well and healthy. when you're chosen by Siv Yis, you can't really avoid it.
Hmmm... perhaps your aunt went through the process, but was not totally convinced... Most people that I have met that used to be Shamans and are now Christians... once they are Christians, they won't go back... there are some... who are wishy-washy... but then these don't seem to be very strong Christians... My ex-sister-in-law is a Shaman... she was very sick... even when she was a Shaman... she became a Christian and started going to Church... the spirits didn't bother her anymore and she was fine. Her husband didn't want to become a Christian so he told her to stop going to Church... I guess he must have thought that it was just a coincidence... anyway, she stopped going to Church and her illness has gotten worse... to the point where she could not even work anymore... but she is hesitant to go to Chruch again b/c of her husband... and the rest of her relatives are not Christian either... she ask me to pray for her... but she is getting worse and worse... I don't know. I tried to tell her to put her faith in God again, but she doesn't want to go against her husband... they don't have any kids, so they only have each other.

You can get rid of your neeb based on how your were selected to be a shaman.
If you were selected or had said that you'll take the gift of a shaman and help people, before your birth, you're pretty much stuck.
If you were selected while on earth, you can convert to Christianity, get baptized, pray, and more prayers will get rid of the neeb.

I once had an evil spirit come to my dreams to take me to the dark side but I prayed to Jesus and Mother Mary (like crazy) and didn't allow this evil spirit to talk to me for any more than a few seconds because I didn't want it to take me over. I didn't allow it's power to over take me.
I am christian and that evil spirit has only tried it again a couple times in the last few years and but has not lately and hope it never does again. I have no interest.

You know, before I converted, I was always afraid of the dark and afraid of being alone. I seriously thought I was spending too much time a lone. After my conversion, I was no longer scared. Though I'm baptized, it's diagnosed that something happening to me spiritually.
