wise thing to do...the heat will wear them batteries life quicker too. at least a lot of people like myself believes so..haha haven't touch a power tool in ages so maybe it's no longer true with today's technologies.. haha

Yep, extreme temps on both spectrums is not friendly towards battery. The lithion tech is much better than Ni-Cd but should still be taken care of so move it inside the house if needed...

Temperatures that are not friendly toward batteries: below 40F or over 120F
