The answer to the riddle is:

1.  Don’t get sick/cancer

Or

2. If you get sick/cancer, die right away so your family don’t carry your medical debt

Both answers are correct

Look at your labor law again.  Can they fire you for being sick and missing work?

Now if you claim car broke down and no ride to work then yes, they can fire you for not coming to work.  The employer has the right to set a good working condition for you and you have the right to come to work on time as you are scheduled.

So when you have car trouble, just call in and say that you are sick so that you got some kind of protection.

You seem to be missing the issue, dude. It means you won't get coverage through work. It does not mean you cannot get your own private policy to cover you or that you won't be able to get medical assistance from the government. Lots of people on welfare who don't work get medical coverage.

That's what's great about America, which is what Trump does not want to promote, despite him saying he wants to make America great again.

When you are at the hospital and with no coverage, they will find a way to qualify you for any open health care insurance programs for you.  It is their job to get payed right?  So if you lose your job, you are now poor and being poor, you can get medical/medicare government assistance program.

When I was hurt at work and went to the hospital, they did my worker comp for me.  All the forms are ready to be filled.  When my unemployed cousin from MN, went to cali and was shot at the night club, the local hospital put him on some government's program for the victim and tab was about $40K but the government picked it up.

No s.hit Sherlock.

It used to be that you paid for your own medical bills. But then companies got smart and started offering benefits in order to attract and keep good employees. This was all well and good - INITIALLY. But then once the majority of companies were doing this it really left out people who were unemployed, self-employed, or worked for small companies. Obviously, the less number of people in your group, the less appealing the health package. Also, the age and health of your employees also matter, which is why companies nowadays love to hire young people.

BUT YOU ARE SUCH A DUMBF.CKER.

YOU CAN GET GROUP INSURANCE THROUGH VARIOUS WAYS. YOU DON'T HAVE TO GET IT THROUGH YOUR EMPLOYER.
