Woman cancels date after discovering man’s zodiac sign: ‘Is this something that is common in the dating world?’

A man was stunned by the reason his date canceled on him. Apparently, it was because of astrology.

He asked Reddit’s “Dating Advice” forum to weigh in. He asked out a barista he had been making friendly conversation with for a few weeks. She agreed to go on a date. But after looking him up, she decided his zodiac sign wasn’t compatible with hers.

“I’m a bit thrown off by this, but I was canceled on due to my zodiac sign,” he said. “Throughout the week, before work, I visit a coffee shop. I go practically every weekday, and I’ve been seeing the same barista there every morning.

“We seemed to click well with our small conversations, and after chatting with her for a few weeks, I decided to offer my number since she was on the clock. She declined to take my number but gave me her Snapchat. We chatted a bit on Snapchat and agreed to go on a date Friday.”

But shortly after, her opinion of him seemed to quickly change.
