IM JUST THERE TO COLLECT A PAYCHECK
I had a kdoo guy who worked for me.  He wasn't getting work done so I called him into my office and said I will have to write him up if he didn't get the project completed on time.  Next thing I know, he complains to my boss about me creating a hostile work environment.

Sounded like he had no respect for you, did you showed him who’s boss afterward?
