Lo van Pham becomes the first Asian American NFL game official

Pham was an official for the Big 12 Conference before being tapped by the NFL. Born in Vietnam, Pham and his family of five lived in a refugee camp in the Philippines before moving to Amarillo, Texas, in 1979 when he was 7 years old.

Looks like Lo worked hard over the years and his hard work is finally paying off... O0

I have much more respect for guys like that than the lazy failures that just live in their parents' basement and leach off them..

In todays interview Pham said he was born in Laos.
