I know of manufacturing guys that making bank.  They get it through overtime and extra days of work.  4 days a week 10 hours a day.  Tesla though so yeah, find a better manufacturing job and wiggle your way to that promotion. 

You should use this china man story for inspiration.   1.2gps in college.  Got a gig and moved up to 160k a year but he didn't stop there.  He went working for google doubling that salary.  My hero.
