How can there not be this franchise in MN?  They are well known and should be all over America.  I was this old today to find out that there isn't non in MN.  7-11 opens 24 hours and are good late night after party fixes for us who grew up in California.

There used to though but Super America bought them all out.  We don't have Super America in California.

The real villain is looking at you.  The last hero was just not true.  If everything works out in the end.  It's because all things make amends.

There are three 7-11 in my hometown. Each one at different location: north, south, and east.

I don’t frequent Argo much. Growing up 7-11 was happening for us. Late night snacks and food lol

Many southern states still  have 7-11. Nebraska, for example. If you really miss it, it's only about 10 hours of driving from Minnesota.

good point......whe re hmgrock doesn't get out much, so one little thing intrigue him.

Bought out in the early 80's?

Super America/Speedway was king for awhile. No real dominant chain.

Still in MN

Another culture shock for me is pull tabs.  They are usually at them bingo halls.  They might be illegal in Cali because I don't see them.  They are like our Cali scratchers lottery but odds are better with scratchers n the jackpots are higher.  These are played $2 a piece with prizes ranging from $4 to $250.  $5 tabs goes to $1400

They have it here at this bar called the outpost.  Cool place to chill to eat food n drink n to see the addiction toll it has taken n making the locals here as zombies.  You know you a frequent when the bartender be knowing your name.  With slot machines, even if you do not win on each pull, they do pay something back.  With these pull tabs, it is either win or lose.  They give you a bucket to collect your pull tabs litter.  They way they play it here is like an assembly line.  No chill for the squeezing the card style.  In less than a second, it was over n just as fast as you pitch $2 into a bucket.  It doesn't take long for your $100 to be gone.  As least with slot machines, you can cash out n go try a different machine.

It was a good experience though.  I took pix to show my Cali people.

If you ever in the Brooklyn park area, pho Thanh vi has a waitress gal, I think it is the owner's daughter n she looks 21 or younger and I could be wrong but she's a pretty thing.  Come check her out n try to hit on her.  Was gonna pimp her to my youngest cousin here.

Was planning to hit the horse races at Cadbury but no races till this Saturday.  I'll be home by then.

Regarding tall wooden fences.  My cousin sold his Brooklyn park house on college Park drive to a Hmong family.  We drove by there yesterday to see any changes and yep, Hmong family puts up them 6 foot tall wooden fences.  Next door neighbors are white folks so privacy when killing your goat is important.   O0
