A balanced diet includes foods from all these 5 categories
« on: July 02, 2022, 06:21:31 AM »
The experts call this "The Five Food Groups."

Do you have them all each day or week?

These English-language researches and lists are recommended for the general American eaters, not tailored specifically for Hmong. So, as Hmong,
we must still choose our own tastes from the groups. You don't have to eat bread; just eat brown rice. You don't have to eat mackerel or tuna or
salmon; just eat your self-caught white bass or crappies or even carps.

The experts have also said the list does not include everything that's good for the body. There's more--both unlisted and yet to be discovered by science. So,
don't follow only this list.  The "etc" tells you there's more than
what you see on this list.

I've been missing dairy lately and may have had a little abundance of proteins.
