Those romances come down to who gets what at the end.

Legal representation exists and it can be very effective. But it's also the persons involved who will share or not.

Yet, we can't say everyone will share equally in the end. That's because we wouldn't want our ex-partners to now share our stuff with "another" in their lives or we now want to take as much as we can so we can share them with our "new other."
