I get them through out the year, even in winter. My Amish buddy raised them even in winter and I'm from the upper midwest too.

Going to get 15 of them @ $5/each this weekend. All butchered and de-feathered. I just need to gut and clean.

There’s an Amish guy name Ezrah in Wisconsin that sells chickens to Hmong peeps.   He has lots of them. He even provides the butchering facility for a measly $8 clean up fee. Even though it’s that cheap, Hmong people will still be trying to cheat him by claiming they’re all part of the same party so they only have to pay the $8 once for everyone.
