I received an email from Samsung a few days ago saying their system got hacked.  No cc or bank info waa stolen just personal info.  Amazon was hacked too and I received an email.  Big companies don't matter when you agree to their terms.  The same goes for mobile apps, you agree to give permission to access your info.

Got that from Samsung last Friday though I don’t have anything recent or have registered anything with Samsung. I do get lots of phishing emails and texts supposedly from PayPal but I just auto blocked them.

What you should of done is buy a bunch of them gift cards and do a PH give away.  Then send it to PH folks and send the FBI a memo to go pick up their stolen gift cards.
