I attended a Hmong/Vietnamese couple’s wedding this Saturday night, and singer Maiv Xyooj’s son was singing on stage, sometimes in a duet with another female singer. He’s really good! Very smooth.

(The female is really good, too, but I don’t know her and her relations. She kind of looks like Kab Npauj Laim…Oh, she is.)

And there was this guy whose attitude I despised.

He came to our table and kept praising my friend. But my friend was not comfortable talking to him. Yet he held onto my friend’s shoulder and went on and on.

I almost tried to interpose with my own conversation with him so that he would leave my friend alone. But I was being polite about it all and just smiled at them.

The thing is he is the new husband of my friend’s ex-wife. They don’t need to talk about anything.

So, that guy called a friend this morning and said he realized what was doing wasn't right, because he now remembers clearly that that was his wife's ex.

The friend told him I almost dragged him away for something else. He said he was very sorry about that and that next time if he does that again that I should drag him out. He said he was just too drunk this time.

Two men sharing one woman can't really be friends, you know. Nor can two chimps sharing one female chimp. Nor two lions sharing one lioness.
