Social media killed Hmong movies.
« on: December 31, 2022, 08:45:22 PM »
Hmong movies were big back before social media but once that took off, Hmong movies started dying off. Remember the Hmong heroes in those movies?  Where are they now? Anyone have an update?

There are many of "those movies." Which ones are you referring to?

It's not social media... it's the mediocre quality that brought "Hmong movie" down. Majority have bad acting, bad visual, etc etc

I knew him before he started making movies. Him and my father were friends and they used to scam gamblers out of a lot of money. All his idea. My dad was just part of the crew.

That dude had a mind for making money. I could tell you stories of his scams.  But that was back when I was a young teen.  He’s gone legit now and I’m very happy for him.   He is definitely the nicest guy you’ll ever meet though. Loves to laugh and make others laugh.
