It's still the same thing... having possessions of secret documents but the difference is one was the President and the other was just a VP, had no business with secret docs.

You know very well that the only reason the Brandon team came out is to just to deflect the blame... they can claimed - oh, we found it and get the FBI involved but look at what the other guy did - FBI went searching for it and found it. Again, nothing is going to happened with the Trump 'secret' documents.

How many congress folks have some laying around??

To me, classified is classified... does not matter who found it and how. It's like when Hillary lost classified documents on her laptop - deleted them, nothing was done about it.

Tuesdaygirl makes it sound like it's ok for a VP to have classified info because his own attorney found them and it's all good. A VP, SoS or anyone else should not have copies of classified info. Only the President and the intelligent communities should have them.

classified IS classified
it's not meant to be stored in your house (etc...) for your family and kids to see
that defeat the whole purpose

Politics, if there is no jail time consequences, I'm not paying any attention to it.

how can one careless leave classified information in their car
out in the open for everyone to see??

at least keep it in a safe or something you know what i mean
