“Unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things,” - meaning; blacks are one dimensional
voted majority against the Civil Rights Act, voted majority against Desegregation

They honor a senator that started a chapter of the KKK in his hometown and was a "Exalted Cyclops" - a leader of a chapter of the KKK. He became one of the longest serving senator and loved by majority of Dems.
