Duma, hope your county is dry. I was watching the news and some parts in CA is a disaster. Also on the news, it said all that rain in CA will not solve the drought there because 80% of the rain runoff to the ocean.
I know there are a lot of hmong folks living in nearby Merced. One town, per their statistics have 90% of resident are renters and they are now all homeless as the water took out the whole town. All don't even have flood rental insurance either. I feel so bad for these folks.
I ran through a big pond of water. It is only because the guy in front of me made it. They say not to do it and to turn around and find another route. You can't really judge the depth of such water. Glad the rain is now over and another 6 days of straight up sunshine. You know I'll be out there, enjoying my sunshine to the fullest. We need the rain but I hated it. Rain and Snow, I hated it and that is why you don't see me calling home in rainy areas like seattle or cold azz midwest states. I just hate driving in those conditions. My chances of accidents would go up.
