is doing nothing about it?

Maybe it's because the current Admin don't want to hurt the hands that's feeding them?

Chinese officials claimed it's just a 'civilian airship' that have been blown of course and it's purpose is for scientific research use for meteorology. Plus it has limited directional control. Hmmm... why would you send a scientific study balloon with limited directional control into the air for? Is it supposed to just drift back to base after it's done with it's mission?

Ahaha and the US intelligence bought it hooked-&-sinkered. It's being blown by the wind across America and is now in the middle of America. Their excuse for not shooting it down - "because of risk to people on the ground" - how about shooting it when it's over open space? Maybe that will damage the forest or farmland too.  :idiot2: :idiot2:

Maybe it was too pretty to shoot down.

America is that bored.  They are looking forward to see this weather balloon once it is over their area.  Say Hi to Chinese ESPN blimp.   ;D

The US Intelligence is part of the problem. They work for the leftist global elites.

I heard yesterday that it was shot down over the Atlantic ocean - after it flew across America and finished it's mission.  :2funny: :2funny:

Why would you shoot it down after it already cleared the US main land?

The shooting is done only to make it seems like the US gov't, military and intelligence officials are on it.
And China is just pretending to cry about it for photo op because they already got everything they needed.

Uncle Biden told them to shoot it down awhile back but his cabinet is saying hold on, wait a minute, let us think it through.

What is going on is that the balloon being sent over is to test the USA government.  The USA government is being careful not to shoot it down without consulting with the Chinese government.  What the USA government wants is a confirmation that the Chinese made a mistake and the wind blew it out of course so go ahead and shoot it down.  The USA government is preventing the hard headed chinese government from taking that as a sign of war and will retaliate.

So best course is to let them take their pictures and with the balloon over in the Atlantic water, no image left to take so shoot it down.  Everyone  happy.   :2funny:

It's par for the course. Trump and his administration let one fly around for a few days. Why can't Biden do the same?

:idiot2: says the group that get offended and hence need to constantly change cartoon/inanimate characters to have 'inclusive', 'no sex', 'no gender', etc etc  :2funny: :2funny:

Let's not even go into getting salty or pissy pants over minor/weird things... there are tons of them on the Leftie/Demmie sides too.

Actually, if you look into it... our intelligence communities is at fault during the Trump era because they brief Trump and his admin. on these as 'UAP' - Unidentified Aerial Phenomena and poses not threat to the US. It was later reclassified as 'balloon' and potential spy when it was already too late.  The intelligent communities then took that learning from the Trump Admin and applied it to the current admin. in which they correctly identified it as a Chinese balloon.

The difference is that the current admin knew it was a Chinese balloon but didn't do anything until it finished it's course. Like I said, no country will send a balloon to do research with 'limited' mobility... hoping that somehow the wind will blow it back to base.
