Do you drink distilled water?
« on: March 11, 2023, 09:59:37 PM »
I do at times.

Back in my high school years, we used distilled water in the biology lab to clean our
equipment. The teacher said never to drink it.

Now, distilled water is sold for drinking just like other bottled waters are.

Distilled water does boil if you heat it high enough.

I've never used it on anything or drink it at all...

It is a warning on my Keurig not to use distill water.

My memory is a little dim. I'm not sure I drank these type of water before when I was in my 20s.

Why not just purified water? Just curious.

Marketing strategies.

We've had too many purified waters in too many labels or names: Dasani, Aquafina, etc.

Some research indicated that they are no different from tap water.

But I think they are more appealing and easier to carry around.

I get that. I don't mind purified water from my fridge. But if it's store bought I opt for the cheap $0.99 2 gallon bottles.
