True. I have strung dead minnows on hooks for cats at night. Caught quite a lot of them, especially with the smelly minnows.

Long ago, just buy a pack of red worms for a buck. Catch bream, perch, etc and use it to catch fat cats. Will also float a bluegill on a bobber for large mouths too. If I ever stop by old playgrounds during the summer, will definitely reminisce and repeat.

Can likely repeat what YouTuber done on video at Berryessa and Clear lakes here.

haven't fish in years...suck at it..but i enjoyed the outdoors...One of old friend was pretty damn near professional at it..lols one day saw him reel in fish after fish...one day though, we went carp fishing..Where he made the bait out of some kind of corn meal or some thing..he reeled in at least 10 to the shore..or the bank, rather..once to the bank, they all break loose for whatever reason..he couldn't believe what was happening...as we headed back to the car, a fellow fisher man asked us...ANy luck? my friend said nope, reeled in about 10, lost them all once a few feet away from the shore...the other fisherman proceeded to tell us same thing happened to him once on that spot...and others said the same...nobody really know the history of the spot...but they since blocked it off last i heard...some 20 years ago...lols

The fishing was tough that day
Tell me she been there all day and no luck

Got soo mad
Dump all the minnow on the grass and left
Alot of them were dead anyways
