Been to the Midwest several times and the weather pretty suck all year around. Shoveling snow in the Winter, dealing with high humidity in the Summer. I prefer 100 degree dry heat over 90 degree high humidity muggy sticky heat.

Visiting is OK but I would not want to live there unless I really have to...

I知 with you regarding the dry heat vs humidity. AC 24/7 where high temperature with high humidity and no amount of breeze will help but under a tent canopy here, golden and better if a slight breeze is flowing.

Our local  hills where the tips saw some snow.

Silicon Valley had one of its worst winters since my arrival here this season. Some nights, it fell into the 30s but usually in the 50s during the nights all winter long. My lemon grass plants have never had any issues during the winters. How do you guys tolerate all these super cold winters in the Midwest and Northern States? I would be depressed if I had to shovel snow from my driveway every time it snows.

I can never get used to the single digit or the amount of snow I知 facing yearly. However, I stop thinking about it and just be one with it since I知 here.

I can easily deal with the 30痴, feels like 50 when you go through the type of winter we just had.

Lol, what do you do all winter long?

Thought about snowboarding this year. But for sure anything indoors/outdoors to keep busy. The Winter Blues is real.
