did you grew up eating raw ramen
« on: May 02, 2023, 10:37:57 PM »
the wife saw me eating crush raw ramen and was like wtf...I said, I was craving for it for some odd reason, it's just like eating potato chips..haha growing up I thought it was just us Hmong kids...til one day, I saw a few other black kids, Pacific Islander kids do the same..one of the kids probably ate one every day before football practice. I think it was more of a placebo effect that it will give him power..lols crush it, add a little of the seasoning package, shake, and enjoy.....Just gotta be careful since Im a lot older now..I felt my heart beating a little faster afterwards..mu st be the high sodium content in the seasoning..lol s

No but someone gave me a pack yesterday and suggest I can eat it raw.  I tried a few bites and I prefer cooked.  It's not bad, edible but cooked is better.

actually my family never did that rice with soda/punch thing...but we did wait until the shaman party is done and over with and whatever sodas are left, we would grab as many and hide them because we know it might be a while, otherwise we be sweet tooth deprive for months until the next shaman party...but when my Og's decided to let go of the old traditions.... it became only memories....ha ha Shizzles, I still drink soda's today...someti mes a few actually...lol s but the days of a closet or cabinet or a little part of the garage with stacks of sodas are long gone...lols
