Grand Canyon National Park is country's most deadly, report says

A New York Post investigation recently found it is also the deadliest national park in the country, with the most number of missing persons in the nation. According to the reporting, there have been at least six people found dead and 56 missing persons at Grand Canyon National Park from 2018 through February 2023.

Maybe it is a place for folks to go and do a suicide run.   Hard to say but with such terrains, if you are not good with them survival outdoors skills, your chances of survival goes down. 

Once in a while, I would read articles about people gone missing on hikes and runs and vacations.  It makes me more conscious than had I was naive and think that I'm invincible.  My biggest fear is that I can survive by myself but if my wife and kids are there, it then makes things more complicated.  Now I will have to carry their weight too.
