Shot and killed one of the person on his movie set - got off from the shooting because it was believed that there was a malfunction of the gun - it went off when Baldwin pointed at the victim. And that would make the case very difficult to prosecute.

However, prosecutor mentioned that if forensic found that the gun needed to be pulled to be fired, then they will refile charges. Forensic just proved that the gun, indeed, needed to be pulled before firing and there is no malfunction. Interesting to know that they also found live round on the set and one or two live round on the gun belt being used.

Uh... the armory chick did not hand him the gun and said it was cold. Read please... there were three guns (guns were secured and ammo not) placed on a cart, that the armory chick place it there and handed one to the an Assistant Director... that person handed the guns to Alec without verifying it and claimed it was cold. Alec took the gun, pointed it at the person (dead victim) and pulled the trigger - he claimed he never pulled the trigger and the gun went off on it's own.

This has nothing to do with politics... someone need to be held accountable for the death. I'm sorry but he's the one in charge of this production... If you only see politics on this, you are much much worst than the GOP you claimed are bad.

CNN) An assistant director handed Alec Baldwin a prop firearm and yelled "cold gun" before the actor fired the weapon, killing cinematographe r Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza, according to a court document.

The "cold gun" remark was meant to indicate that the weapon did not have live rounds, according to an affidavit for a search warrant for the movie set filed by the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office and obtained by CNN affiliate KOAT.

I don't need to be a gun expert to know that I shouldn't point a gun at someone and pull the trigger. That's gun safety 101.

And a "prop" gun can be a vintage gun used as a prop. Props are not always fake toys. For example, Hollywood often uses "real" vintage cars as props.

I love how in Hollywood, everything is purely accidental. But these same goons would be marching and protesting if something like this happened outside of Tinseltown.
