Adventures with Chloe...

Chloe weighed in at 53.4 lbs this morning at the vet!  She was so good and so brave.  I told them about her accident with her crate so they let me walk her back to the room where they keep them.  They gave her one of the biggest spaces - as big as her Large crate here at home so I think she's gonna be ok.  She was resistant to going and she knows that that place isn't her favorite place but it's going to be a great day for her.  She is getting micro-chipped (only $22 and totally worth it!) and in for her 1 year comprehensive exam. They asked if I wanted her to see a "dental" specialist and I was like no thanks.

She can be when she wants to be.  She's kind of unfriendly to strangers at the house unless I am around -  I thinks he's just very protective of her turf so if you ever come back down or if I bring her anywhere, I'll have to warm her up to people.  She also likes to jump up for kisses so beware of that!   I have to teach her jumping is bad but .  She's very strong too so don't let her looking all cute and innocent fool you.  

I hope you have a great weekend!  Give your nieces kisses for me and tell them I said "hi."

Last night the skies lit up as the clouds parted and it just poured!  It was if the world was angry... BUT I completely understand for I've had those moments in my life.  However, poor Chloe was so scared of the storm, she just hid under the desk...

My baby sister is so funny.  We were watching those dog shows on Animal Planet the other day and she was like, "Dangs, I think Chloe could win that contest.  She's one of the prettiest dogs I've ever seen."  I just laughed at her and told her she's silly plus Chloe's not a pure breed.

Chloe's so funny, she's asleep at the foot of my bed as I am working away today.  All of a sudden I hear a "thud thud thud..."  It's her tail wagging up and down against the floor.  I am guessing she's having a very happy dream because her legs are moving and her tail is wagging and wagging!

I'm headed to FL this weekend - cannot wait!  I'm way overdue for a vacation and I've been REALLY good about saving so this is a birthday celebration - sweet 16 for the baby sis and time to get away with the family.  It's going to be so HOT but it'll be so much FUN!!

I was taking a look at my phone list tonight and it’s funny how many numbers I have but how very few of them I actually dial or dial me.  I use to be really good at keeping up with people but I realized, people get “busy” or some of them just have other priorities in their lives so even if I try to keep up with a relationship, it’s one sided.  Now, I guess I just don't care for it anymore...  Eeek huh?  

Sad but true, life is full of many wondrous adventures and paths and I guess the paths I’ve chosen haven’t crossed anyone more than once thus far...

Chloe and I had a surprised visitor- DADDY!!  She was not happy to see this stranger but with some coaxing and reassurance that he was a good person (it helped that he has a love for dogs and was patient with her), she loved loved loved him!  We had so much fun with her and he was amazed at her bilingual ability as well as the tricks I’ve taught her since he did not take the time to teach his dogs any of the fun tricks I’ve taught Chloe.

How long did you wait for Mickey and Minnie to take the picture?  We wanted to take pictures with them but the line was too long.  We took pictures with Pooh and the dog ( forgot his name).  It took about 1.5 hour to get there.  With the hot temp., our patience were running very thin.

We only waited probably 30 mins to take a picture with Mickey and Minne (it was a Friday around 2 pm-ish I think).  Oooh we got a picture with Pluto - Mickey's dog too!!   We also got one with Chip n Dale and Princess Ariel.  I wanted Belle REALLY bad - she's my favorite, but we couldn't find her!

Chloe and I went to the doggie park and she got many compliments from the people she was smoozing on. One lady was like "oh dear she's got a wonderful disposition!" and the other guy was like "what do you feed her? she's got a beautiful coat of hair!" I told them, it was the great until you see how much she's sheds around the house and how much cleaning I have to do!" Ha-ha!  I really want to get her a buddy but gosh my parents would go crazy because she's pretty much destroyed my front yard already!

I need a new adventure...
