them baitfish looks like shad.

hey addison, r u bobber fishing with live bait or r u cranking with artificial?

we call them alewifes here, but they're thinner than shads. i usually don't bobber fish unless the water is calm with no wind (otherwise it'll be all over the place). most the time i set off the bottom or cast spoons.

here's a few vids i put together with a friend to help anyone out that's interested in fishing the great lakes for salmon off the piers. hope this helps.

sword.  how does the mini mite move in the water?  is it a small swimbait or do you just bounce it around?

you pretty much said it...swim and bounce, given it's design...but the day I caught those crappies and walleye...

I just let it free fall and felt for the bite or just watched my line

oh yeah.. gotta pay to play.. i spent $1200 for one bow alone. Another $500 for my other bow. A box of 12 arrows = $60+. 3 hunting broadheads = $40.  :'( >:D $2000+ for my 4 guns+ammos+accessories.. Adds up quickly.

fishing does cost a lot too. One of my hardcore guy buys those $300 rod and reels and he's got like a couple of them too.. $300 for a gun is okay, but for a rod??? reel? no way!
