Just a question addison. Not trying to get on you or nething. Isn't that a lot of fish to eat? And I thought its not good to eat to many fish from lake michigan? Just wondering because I heard they were going to post signs up at a popular beach downtown milwaukee here that's says swim/eat at own risk due to high mercury this year in that system?
You bring up a very good point that everyone should be informed about with salmon/trout.
The WI-DNR advise the public to
consume one meal per month of salmon/trout. Most the fish I catch I give away to family and friends (1 per family), and I keep one or two salmon every outing and freeze them.
