A real football sized rainbow trout. 7.7lbs. 24 inches.

You are correct.  It should be in the 4lber range.

My share

beer bottle is 9 and 1/2 inch long.  The smaller one is 2.5ish lb so you can tell how big is the larger one.  Not record setting for me but still a proud fish to take.
