A Dutch woman, who allegedly called her ex-boyfriend 65,000 times over the past year, is being charged with stalking by prosecutors in the Netherlands.
The Associated Press said the 62-year-old man from The Hague filed a police complaint in August due to the nonstop phone calls. Police arrested the 42-year-old woman on Monday in her Rotterdam home and seized a number of cellphones and computers.
Nicolette Stoel, a spokeswoman for Hague prosecution, said the woman told judges at a preliminary hearing that she had a relationship with the man and that she didn’t call an excessive number of times. She has been ordered by the court to cease contacting the man, who has denied they had a relationship.

Dec. 21 (2010)--The messages a man sent to his ex-girlfriend were relentless, say criminal charges filed against him: 800 voice and text messages one night, 450 texts during a three-week span.
The 36-year-old woman has a permanent protection order against Khang Dao Vang, 48. The complaint said many of his contacts "threatened her with death. Others made clear that he was watching her. All were unwelcome and unwanted."
