Poetic Souls / Perfect Balance
« on: September 16, 2014, 06:44:18 PM »
Until you,
I have never been so stun
by a man’s physical appearance;
you are stupendous; my train of thought just falls apart;
you are gifted with intelligence,
street smart, which I hold nothing back,
with no dread that you will not understand.
Your nature of an old soul,
modesty of a child astounds me;
I make you my beloved teacher.

In the depths of your heart,
your love abides eliminating a light to all,
all whom loves you.

Love is light;
light draws all things, near and far.
Like the behavior of the moth drawn to the light,
its nature is not far from peculiar;
your light draws me.

You encourage me to be all that I can be;
you handle me with care;
it took you,
as
a
whole,
to have me.

So dare to be who you are;
receive all your greatness and divinity,
reject all that speaks of frivolousness and pity.
Whatever light,
compassion,
spirituality,
humanity,
and friendship you find in me,
know that in the entire world,
I find that you are my perfect balance.

 :)

Poetic Souls / A Waiting Story
« on: March 05, 2013, 02:39:42 PM »
A Waiting Story

He smiles like a summer show
His words flow,
Crossing whispering windows,
Humming a tune of rue
He charges in willowing charm
A highlight,
Love takes flight
In the calm of life
Beauty beholds upon his heart
So innocent like the safety in his arm
I am undeniably captivated
Yet unbelievably liberated
If we are a song no one heard
then we live in the words
If you are just a daydream I yearn to hold
Then we are a story waiting to be told

Poetic Souls / Just What I Needed
« on: August 16, 2012, 01:54:44 PM »

I wasn't given a prince,
I don't need riches and gold;
I wasn't given a knight,
I fear nor face no battle;
I was not given an angel,
I deal not with hopelessness.

Instead, it was a man
That I'd received;

I prosper with his love,
It is the only royalty my heart yearns;
A gentle man,
I need never to contend, in bed, or
On the streets for heed;
My better half,
That for better or for worse
He is with me

Poetic Souls / My Dream
« on: October 25, 2011, 11:22:57 AM »
So often, the doubts of others' smother me and I
get overcome.

But every time, even if it's for a moment that I
hear from you, heed of our presence, know of your
courage and encouragement, nothing can beat
me. You win me, though I never surrender. And it
just feels so damn right to be with you.

This crazy dream of finding love is finally coming
true, it's so raw and breath taking, only a few can
come to grasps with it. We will always condemn
what we don't understand; discredit what we
don't consider as normal. But I will not allow
anyone to doubt my dream. This is my dream
coming true! This is the beginning of my happy
ending!

This dream will not die, not matter the cost of
agony, forever never minding the misrepresentat ion from
society, public, and ignorance. This is my dream!
No one can take it from me!

This is a dream of sweet enduring love,
of passion so deeply rooted, of desires wielded
by God, Himself! This is a dream of everlasting love,
of honorable commitment, of the strength of
a human being, [of a woman] so strong that time,
tears, sweat, blood, and years cannot and will
not diminish!

This is my love coming true.

July 17, 2016

This took me by surprise because I haven't been tracking my progress as I kept up with my routine and diet. I haven't been working as hard as I wanted it was difficult to feel the changes in me. But I got dressed for a conference and everyone was telling me I lost a lot of weight! So I had to weigh myself this morning and so far, I've lost a total of 100 pounds!! It took a long time to reach this day but I am finally here! Sometimes, I feel like quitting because weight loss is taking too long but then I tell myself that just a little more and you'll be under 200 and after that you'll be at your weight loss goal! I hope this photo will inspire everyone to stick to their goals!

March 1, 2016

Here's another update. I began a daily exercise routine, incooperating cardio and strength training, alternating days, reduced my blood sugar medication, which causes weight gain, at the end of spring of 2015, when my demanding school schedule came to an end. Not before long, I started having knee pain and had to take it easy. At that point, I only played badminton and diet. I can see now, how great I look in clothes.

May 1, 2015

I suffered many set backs in 2014. It is just a little over year since I had my emergency appendectomy. I really had to not sweat for about 3 months for my incisions to close up completely. And then I suffered a sprained knee from exercising, in December and had to take another 3 months off. But here's my progress, still taking it day by day.

Poetic Souls / Everything is Beautiful
« on: July 26, 2011, 04:25:12 PM »
Everything is Beautiful

Amongst the forgotten and faded,
tattered, scarred, and broken,
with beauty so deep beneath the surface,
no one finds your beauty,
nor knows of your elegance.

God forever blessed me
with a heart that was able to feel your beauty,
a mind capable enough to see your greatness,
and a soul that bathes in your tranquility

Poetic Souls / Our Meeting
« on: July 22, 2010, 06:38:49 PM »

Our Meeting

Nights that led to mornings, words that embark my ears
Giggles that turn to laughter, the phone tangled in my hair
The day is just a waiting game, so I can hear you, at least
Tell me about your day and secrets, things that sound so sweet
Rest in the calm of my voice, I’ll besiege your chafed body now
Lie on my chest and we’ll get away somehow
Bring your jokes and your humor; we’ll have a long night
Maybe I can hang from your arms when the moment is right
We’ll chat and perhaps, steal a kiss here and there
Place my hand in yours; embrace it like you really do care
I’ll stroke your face, with the back of my palm
You can keep me with your presence, keeping me from harm
And when the night don’t seem long enough
Know that you’ll always have my love
Along with the nights and mornings, your words that touch my ears
Giggles and laughter, and the humor of phone tangled hair

Online Journal / Discharing
« on: May 27, 2009, 03:31:00 PM »
I've been so fed up. For once, it's not relationship problems. I'm cool with that now. Other than that,
the only major thing left in my life is my family. Yeah, that must be it. I haven't gone away from them
since December of 2008. I've been stuck here with them, tolerating their crap. I feel so much pressure,
pressing me from every where.

Too bad I'd missed my bonus during last quarter. I'd said that I'd spend that money on myself, perhaps
go out of town or something like that. But suddenly, I'd spent it all on paying bills. That's where most
of my income goes towards anyway. I usually have no problem with that but, I've been finding it to
be intolerable to pay for so much bills, bills that I didn't not caused alone, per se. Everyone that lives
here uses, electricity, gas, water, garbage, the cable. Yet, they blindly avoid paying for the share they've
consumed. I really wouldn't mind paying for so much but when I need help, I really need help and no one helps.
I've always thought that since I'm the bread winner in this household, I'd cover for more of the expense
but lately, I feel like it's only been me, whom has been making the sacrifices. Living at with my parents
and siblings didn't suck until now.
