My uncle who's a painter told me to go with any other color but white. He suggested a shade of light purple, blue, or green but I said no. I already picked out the wall color I want for my room. I know it's a boring color, it's a shade of white called New House White. I would have gone with a bolder color but there's not enough sunlight in the room so I needed a lighter/brighter color. I earned myself a new nickname: vanilla. Hahaha.
My son has good taste. He picked Florida Sunrise, a bright and happy orangey color for his walls. His room looks really good with two Florida Sunrise walls and two white walls. My daughter's room is a light gray color.
What are the wall colors you have in your house?

My walls are white. They look and feel cleaner somehow--that is, until the kids draw on them with markers and crayons, ha. But I've always liked white walls. Painted walls make me feel claustrophobic somehow.

One is whites and creams. The other is basically neutrals.
I always thought it would be cool to have different bold colored walls....but then I woke up and realized it’s unrealistic for me, since my personality isn’t like that......AND it may be harder to sell. ;D

Yes, I tried really hard to go with bold colors but it's just not me. Allowing my son to have his Florida Sunrise walls and painting the family room etc light gray was already very brave on my part. Lol.

You do what you want but I know what I hate. I hate them wall coloration that looks yellow like bird chit.
It just makes the house looking like a cheap los Angeles or illegal mexican abortion clinic.
Look at this chit. Like big bird just took a dump throughout the house or something

The best color for a wall "TO ME" is that white trim and grey looking. IT blends on in with them stainless steel kitchen stuff and goes easy on the eyes
IT makes your house looks modern like a hollywood house on the hills overlooking the ocean.

The greys may be more modern, but it’s just a trend and too dark for my taste. I’m ok with some trends but that will eventually go out of style. :P

I already know what I don't like. The most popular asian color for their car is a flip from white and silver.
I don't like my walls to match the color of my car. I don't want my walls to be cheap white like how I would go into a doctor's office and his walls are white. I don't want that cheap white color that reminds me of my parent's house that we rented and landlord don't deck it out for you to live in luxury if you are just a renter so basic white is what you'll get.
So what else am I left with? Well as an artist. Dark far away and light close up. If the walls are dark, my stuff like tables are sofas are of a lighter color. Gotta have that contrast unless I wanna go dark everything and get some hot red, yellow, orange green sofa and furniture to make my room pop like a nice painting canvas.

The color of the room should depend on the size of that space. And what type of lighting is it getting.
Various type of whites works well for a small space. I’m not in with multiple colors for every rooms. I prefer a type of flow.

I’ve always been more of a neutral/classic wall-color type of person and prefer to add/pair accent colors to the rooms. Like I stated earlier, trends are ok but most eventually go out of style and some recycle itself as time passes. ;D

I helped my homie's house with different colors b/c that's what his old lady wanted. Every room was a different color. My homie can draw so he painted the living room with anime characters and bathroom a beach scene. The front door is a sun flower so it's easy to spot when new folks come over :2funny:
