Whatevs. You libtards already have your minds made up about the 3 officers when the real problem is MAYBE IF YOUR CITIES DIDN'T PRODUCE SO MANY SHYTTY PEOPLE LIKE FLOYD, this wouldn't even be an issue.

Just look at how y'all acting like animals. This is under your mayor's watch - who is a fcken DEMOCRAT.

If you allow lawlessness to run amuck then you are going to have a police department that reflects that.

Shame on you Demoncraps.

Who cares if Hmong Village burns down. YOU DIDN'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT PEOPLE'S RUINED BUSINESSES BECAUSE OF LOCKDOWN ANYWAYS.

Please be civil and stick to your argument. I'd like to hear your point on why Tou is not 10% responsible for this man's death.

Zero backbone to do what you biatch?

Dude wouldn't get his ass into the squad car. What do you think the officers were trying to do?

Now I disagree with the maneuver that the one officer used with his knee on Floyd's neck. However, I disagree with charging all the other officers who didn't have their knee on the guy's neck.

Given the situation, it is fair to say that the other 3 officers were the only ones who would be able to de-escalate and remove the knee-to-neck pressure. Bystanders demanded and tried for several minutes and each time they were warned about interfering. The kneeling officer pulled out his spray can when bystanders tried to get them to stop. To what level these 3 will be charged could be argued but they are responsible! Tou's life is ruined for his poor choice in responding to a critical situation that was quickly escalated by his partners.

Read somewhere that Derek Chauvin's wife is Hmong. Another anonymous individual pointed out that Tou & Derek are BILs, whether this means real BILs or just Hmong way of saying "yeah, he's my BIL because he shared the same last name as my wife."  I wonder if any of this is true and how much of this supposed relation contributed to Tou's inability to do what was right. No excuses!

I prefer water stones and I recommend the following:

Brand:
- Naniwa Chosera
- Shapton

Grits:
150-300 grit for reprofiling, fixing minor chips, etc
1000 grit for fine sharpening
2-3000 for extra fine sharpening

and add a leather strop w/ 3-5000 powder compound.

For guided system, I recommend TSProf.

Was in the East coast, now I’m back in Cali. Nothing beats the weather here on the central coast Ca. I love getting back to a warm winter.

I’ll see if I can find any pictures worth sharing...

The jet lag is what makes it so tiresome. Try doing 4 countries in two weeks. Last year, I ran out of pages on my passport for entry/exit stamps. yikes.

Enjoyment also depends on the quality of hotel. If I'm on the move and there for a night only, I'm okay staying in cheap hotels as long as they are somewhat clean. Two or more nights, I need clean sheets and a good atmosphere. I also hate the feeling of eating alone. You can have the best dishes but if you're eating alone, you can't really enjoy it. Just yesterday, I was at the airport cafe and was grouped with another traveler to share a table. So awkward. The guy signed a bill for $70 breakfast, not knowing he paid for my meal as well, and rushed off to catch his flight.

traveling as i type!!!  ;D

Quest, yes you've been traveling.  Now do you travel for work or for enjoyment?  Also, you've been to quite a few Asian countries, which one is your favorite and why?

Half of these are for work and I usually stay up to two weeks on these trips. Asia countries typically go above and beyond when they host guests so I tend to enjoy my work trips to Asia more. For non-work trips, I struggle with finding things to do beyond the 3rd day so the preferred length of stay at any particular location is 3 nights max. I am not sure if there is a favorite country but the vacation trips with family are more memorable. I am quite open when it comes to trying local food so if I'm there for work and I find the food worth returning, I'll consider a vacation trip there with my family. Sometimes, the new friends I make on some of these trips are good enough reasons to return. Ever tried haggis while in Scotland or raw chicken in Tokyo?  yum yum. I've had some of the best food while in China. I've also had the worst food in China! The sad truth about experiencing great food in Thailand and Vietnam... when you return back to the States, you can't find any restaurants worth comparing to.

I can't recall the last time (7+ years) I was active on this forum but when I tried logging on with my old account yesterday, it no longer works. Good to see a few familiar users still active... and see some of you still fighting all these years. Can we stay on topic and keep this place worth coming back to? I am skimming for any topics worth participating. ...and only to find out most of the responses are personal attacks.

This year:
Brussels, Ghent, Amsterdam, Glasgow, Edinburg

To date:
Malaysia (2 trips), Singapore (4 trips), Taiwan (2 trips), China (over a dozen trips), HK (6 trips), Vietnam, Thailand (over a dozen trips), S. Korea (2 trips), Japan (3 trips), UK (4 trips), Belgium (3 trips), Poland, Ukraine, Mexico, Italy, Greece

The more you travel, the more you appreciate what you have here in the States. I don't consider domestic trips as travel trips...but I do need to travel more in the States.
