« on: September 22, 2011, 01:02:09 AM »
Looks like OnSale.com have the HP TouchPad back in stock again for those who tried ordering back in August but didn't get one.  To order, you must have the cancellation e-mail with the order number...

Anybody have an order number to share ?  PM me please...

Go here for re-ordering with a previous order number:  http://store.onsale.com/n/msc-189

T3i is a good camera...next you need some good lens to go with it.  For portraits and good quality video, I suggest get a 50mm f/1.8 lens for ~ $90.00.  A walk around lens, I suggest Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 ($350.00).  These two lens are a good start for you.  If you are a little adventurous, read up on Magic Lantern firmware for the camera.  Enjoy your new toy.  BTW, I have the T2i...video from these cameras are amazing...

Newegg is good.  Your RAM sitting in the Post Office may be due to the fact no one was home to sign for it.  Post office problem not Newegg...Been ordering from them for ages...

I recommend the Dell E/D series for business work.  Second choice would be the Thinkpad T/W series...

^^ Correct...

Yeah, you need a stand -a-lone Windows install disk.  Restore disk won't work because all drivers embedded are mobo specific.  Ask a friend for a copy and you should be good to go...

« on: December 07, 2010, 11:35:40 PM »
Here are my suggestions:

1.  If you have a serial keyboard or mouse attached, disconnect them both and replace it with a usb keyboard and/or mouse and vice versa (replace usb with serial)

2.  If you can get into bios, reset everything back to default settings and try rebooting again

3.  If step 2 above don't work, take out the little watch battery somewhere on the motherboard to re-set everything back to default

Did you add/replace any hardware to the computer prior to this error ?

Jetter, he's a smart guy...He's just being extremely bias because he has to fix a bunch of his cousin's computer because they are stupid user.

Like Spiderman's Uncle said, "With power comes responsibility ." - Stan Lee

Dumbass users wants admin power so they can install all the programs they want.  Of course they can do that as a power user, but that requires speicalize policying and the dumbass user don't know how to implement a good policy.  It's expected by the likes of Jbutton that Windows OS should be highly intelligent that it can tell the stupid user not what to do.  In the linux world they have Linux admin.  At home, the windows admin is the stupid user.  In my 21 years of using M$ product since MS-DOS, I've never been hacked once.  I've downloaded my share of trojan virus but that's because I was being a stupid-user not scanning a file before executing it.  I'm intelligent enough to know my system is compromise to fix it, but some users are so stupid, I swear they shouldn't even be using computers.  All they do is surf p0rn and it's no wonder they get crap like that.

I concur...
