Holy crap! :o :o I went to the office today and so I put Chloe outside in her pen and apparently a mini tornado came through (strong winds, heavy rain) and flipped her house over and she got scared so she escaped and stayed by the front door. I have no idea how long she had been out but apparently long enough to dig a big hole in the back yard and then she was so scared of the rain and everything that she hid underneath my front door chair and stayed there until I drove into my drive way. She saw me coming so she came out and wagged her cute lil' tail and waiting for me at the edge of the porch. I was like WTF is she doing out and how did she get out because I knew my brother wasn't home and I was praying she was ok. Other than being completely soaked and smelling like a wet dog, she was safe. Oh my baby, I'm glad she's ok. That was a close call.... I am sooooo glad she is such a good girl that she knows where home is and she knows to stay by the front porch and did not go out to the street or any other home in the neighborhood. She was waiting for me to open the door for her to come inside - such a good girl huh? :)

Same day I went to pick up my phone from PetSmart, same day my house was broken into for the 2nd time this year... Ugh I'm so pissed and upset about it but what can you do? Damn kids I tell ya! :-\
On another note, I found Chloe's tooth... Will have to find a way to post the picture up for you all - it's pretty amazing! I found it by her raw hides by her bedding in the back room I keep her in. I was like WTF then awwh, how awesome!! Hahaha! I noticed she's got more teeth now so guess she's shedding all her baby teeth... Awwh my baby's growing up! :)

I think Chloe realizes that I'm freaked out and has become VERY protective of me. Anyone she is not familiar with, she barks at now and it's pretty cute and assuring that she's very loyal to me. I love my sweet girl!
So I believe dogs DO have dreams now because as I am sitting here typing up e-mails, she's sleeping on the ground next to me and all of a sudden, she's barking as she is asleep. It's not like regular loud barking noises but instead, it's like under her breath - kinda like people talking in their dreams you know? :o She is probably dreaming of running around at the doggie park and chasing after her new found friends! ;D What do you think? ???

The doberman are super cute! I saw a regular sized one and a minature one yesterday at the dog park. Super sweet I agree! Chloe seems to like dogs her size only but yesterday she had a BLAST with her new found friends! She's starting to enjoy dog parks so I'm excited about it so she can go exert some of that energy she's got BUT I really hate how dirty she gets and it's gross because the bigger dogs slober all over! Ugh, I have to clean her before I can bring her inside! :)
Lately it's been chilly and because Chloe is still a puppy I've been bringing her in - she can't seem to take the cold yet b/c she'll whine and whine. I'm gonna go get her a sweater and put her back outside so she's use to it...

OMG, Chloe can give you a high-five now folks! She's totally cute and super smart! I swear she's a keeper! Everyone at the park keeps telling me she has a great personality because she's so friendly with everyone! She loves people and especially children! I don't know why but she is just the sweetest thing although sometimes VERY sneaky!
While I am doing work or chatting online, she'll sneak off and nap on the futon and as soon as I get up, she hears me and jumps off because she knows it's a no-no but I snuck out the other night quietly and snapped this!

when i had my cat, not only does he dreams he also snores.. i've got it on video and we all laugh everytime we watch this... i miss him dearly.

CRAP! I'm so full of thoughts today - all this reading is getting to me! :D :D
I've been pondering about why guys dump girls they supposedly dig/like... I found an article and this is they say the top 5 reasons are:
1. The Timing Is Off
Single women get serious when they meet the right man. Single men get serious with whomever we happen to be dating when they are finally ready to settle down. That means after every other aspect of our life is in order -- whether it's finishing school, finally pulling down a good-size paycheck, owning a car outright -- or when our friends start dropping like flies (that's guyspeak for getting married).
2. They're Not Finished Playing the Field
Single men are natural-born one-uppers. If there's a possibility of upgrading what they already have for something better... Until they grow up, mark everything off their checklists or have too many friends convince them that they can't do better than you, the flight risk is real.
3. They are fixated on the Worst-Case Scenario
Men say you can blame their married friends who took the plunge before them. Many single men are hyperaware of what could go wrong down the road. Even if they are crazy about you now, they panic that you'll pack on the pounds and nag them day and night so they secretly flag certain things that might be a harbinger of bad things to come.
4. They are in Like, Not in Love (Most common reason why)
Just because a guy likes you a lot isn't a guarantee that it will evolve into love. Guys, are surprisingly intuitive when it comes to figuring out a girl's potential on this front. One guy admits, "I stayed with one woman for two years because we had fun together and she never pushed the issue, but I knew the minute I met her that she wasn't The One." So why do they invest any time in a relationship that they know will ultimately end? Because they are able to live in the moment for a while and chalk it up to a good experience. But once you show that you're way more into them than they are into you, they'll dump you out of guilt thus "hoping you find someone who loves you as much as you love them."
5. They Are Too into You
Guys are protective of their emotions. Translation: They are scared of being hurt. So, if they start to feel like they're getting into a situation where they'll be destroyed if you dump them, they might launch a preemptive strike and yank the plug first. For men, it's better to act like a winner before you turn them into a loser/wuss, which is when their natural self-preservation may come into play. Before the real humiliation and pain assail them like a plague, ending the relationship seems like a good option.

I chopped up some raw chicken breasts to cook broccoli and chicken. I left them on the counter and went to pick up my phone in my room b/c it was ringing adn I come back and all my meat is gone! OMG, Chloe climbed up to the counter and ATE all of the raw meat! I really hope she does not get sick and does not get worms because of her eating raw meats! OMG! I still cannot believe her! >:( >:( >:( Needless to say, no broccoli & chicken for me. I ordered it from the Chinese pick-up place because I was starving and did not have the patience to get more and chopp then cook even though mine tastes better! :-[

Nope never got her back. But we're getting another one in May, and I will be naming her chloe too. Debated on naming her Honey, but I couldn't do it. I needed a totally new name, for a totally new dog. I only hope her personality is close to Honeys.
My brother's dogs are Hmong dogs too. My mom ends up feeding them all of the left over foods - which are all Hmong cuisine. The dogs especially love it when they get to eat Hmong style PHO. :P My mom usually has to rinse them really well first to get all of the spicyness out of the noodles though. :DCUTE! I won't give her a lot of "human" foods - just a treat every now and then but rice all the time is not good for them too so it's only a treat sometimes. Gosh at least your mom gives them food! My mom gags and says to my dog "sit down and go away!" ;D ;D

Chloe is so photogenic - I'm jealous! :P My puppy does not really like taking pictures. :'( BTW, I got my puppy the same nylon color with the cute little paws except in blue, for boy (he's sooooooo pretty that everyone thinks he's a she the first time they meet him hehehe). Also, he wasn't feeling too great on Saturday (or so I thought) so I cooked him some plain grounded chicken meat with a spoonful of rice which he absolutely LOVED but it made pooing for him really difficult.I actually think she's not that photogenic but thank you! Ah...you're puppy is so cute. I have an amazing half lab/pitt who weighs 60 lbs and a 4lb precious yorkie who thinks she's also 60lbs. They are my life too. Was in Chicago Friday morning til last night. Thank god I got back - I cannot believe it snowed and I only come back to rain, rain, and more rain. It's quite depressing. Ahhhh...Chloe is your baby....my cousin and her husband don't have any kids yet and so their doggies are their babies....hehe ee....they make shake N bake porkchops and chicken for their babies, when her mother came over to discover that ...my aunt was floored by their love and devotion for their babies. ;D

I heard Chloe didn't like Mikee so much. ;DLOL - she's a bit protective of me and takes time to get use to strangers... :D :D It's so werid because at the dog park, she LOVES people but when we are at home, she barks at anyone she's not familiar with (mom, dad, brothers & sisters). I have to teach her to be nice BUT I guess it's good that she is protective too. :D :D

So I have a hilarious story to share. I had to run to a meeting on Saturday in Raleigh for the day so I got up at 5 am, helped mom cook food for her to take to my dad's meeting at 8 am before I left. Well I got home at like 9 pm or so and asked my parents how they are and how did the meeting go and such. Well they say it was fine then my mom tells me that my dog was really hungry today and that she could not stop eating her food and she didn't know what to do. I was like "Huh?" Chloe is picky with her food and only eats like two meals a day so I was confused. I aske my mom what she fed Chloe and my mom was like "Oh I poured a box of some chunky food into her bowl." I ran to the trash can and what did I find? ???
An empty box of these TREATS!

YES, my mom fed Chloe a WHOLE box of her TREATS! I was kinda mad/horrified but laughing at the same time! ;D ;D ;D I explained Chloe LOVED those things and that they were used for training and only given to her when she was good - kinda like kids and candy for being good! My mom laughed and said "Oh, I didn't know there was such things for dogs. No wonder she ate all of them as fast as I gave them to her and even when I threw it in the grass, she sniffed them and found them and ate them." I just coudln't helped but laugh at my mom after that. She further goes to say that she felt bad that Chloe ate that food so fast that she goes on to give Chloe 6-8 more of these treat bones:

LOL. My mom did the same thing with my brother's pits. I took over a new box of the Milkbones (latter box) hoping to go back the next day to give them one each. When I returned, the entire box was missing. I almost lost Chloe yesterday morning. :o
She was outside playing/running around, and of course being super naughty! :D :D Well her collar somehow got hooked to the crate wires at the bottom of the door and she was trying to get out so she dragged the whole crate running around in circles. Well, by doing this the crate was hitting her as she ran and she was choking at the same time. I luckily looked outside and saw she was running around with the crate and was wondering WTF so I went out and saw her soffocating and stuck. She was fighting so hard and she was choking so bad. I unhooked her collar and got her free and just held her. She was so shooken up and shaking yet gasping for air. I just kept coaxing her and finally she was calm again then I let her go. Now she is terrified of the crate and I will have to re-train her and tell her it's ok for her to go back in it. I am just glad I was able to save her just in time and that she is ok.
Last week was a terrible week for me - totally stressful so I hope this week will be better. Thursday, dad was in a car accident but he is ok. Friday, I missed the concert because I had to rush my mom to the ER on Friday and spent 8 hours in the ER. Mom is ok now also so I'm just thankful it's all nothing major. I'm totally exhausted and I have so much work to do/catch up on... Adios friends, hope you all have a great week! :)

She has a six pack, and whippets are like the sweetest things, i wanna get one, even if she isn't on roids. Danes are too big, eat too much, i can't even imagine walking one, cuz i see people do it around here and it looks like a nightmare

Anytime! I love canine stories! It amazes me! What breed is Blackie again? And how old is Blackie? It takes time. Chloe use to just do it every now and then because she is lazy or didn't care about it but now as she's gotten older she's got the crazy energy still and fetching is fun for her because she gets to be all crazy by running and doing tricks for me. Sometimes I'll bounce it and she'll totally jump like 5 ft in the air just to catch/grab the tennis ball. She can be such a show-off sometimes. :D
We think Blackie is a chihuahua mix with a miniature pincher but not 100% sure. He was born last June so that makes him one right now. He's full of energy. I just took him for an 11 mile bike ride, he was running of course, yesterday and he still had tons of energy left to run around at the doggy park afterwards. Sometimes when I throw a ball or a stuff animal, he would chase it but wouldn't bring it back. He has a very short attention span.
If it's any of those breeds, the energy level is crazy high! :D :D Like the mini pinschers need like 45 mins+ of exercise or else they will tear up your house. Your best bet is to take him to the doggy park and just let 'em run around! And the chi-chi's have a crazy temperment if not trained well too. Either way Blackie is cute and I'm sure with your training and regular exercise routines, Blackie is/will be a great family dog. :-* :-*
Have you tried getting him to fetch the ball by giving him a treat if he brings the ball back? That's how I got Chloe to do it at first. I took like one of those bacon stringy treats thingys and broke it to several small pieces then I would let her smell my hand and the treat, I showed her the ball, said "fetch" and threw the ball. She would run for it and at first did not bring back the ball but I'd walk over, she'd follow me, I'd wait for her to pick up the ball then give it to me and slowly back a bit further and further each time and gave her a treat everytime she retrieved the ball. I also taught her along with the "fetch" phase to "drop it" (the ball) as well. See if that works...

My pup is not really into processed commercial treats. However, when I boil half a chicken breast or fish and and cut 'em up real small, he does ANYTHING I command. :P If I don't have time to boil those two things, I use cheese which is even more effective but not as healthy so I try to limit using it as a regular treat. :)

I FINALLY found doggie ice cream! Chloe loves me and she loves her ice cream treat! YUMMY for a hot day!
OOOOh! Do you mind sharing the name and where you were able to pick it up? So far I've been giving frozen carrots, frozen pineapple, frozen pineapple chunks, and frozen chicken feet (w/ toes clipped) for treats. I also introduced ice cubes over the weekend which he LOVES!

Just to chime in on the frozen treats for doggies. Super Target sells them, you can find them in the regular ice cream section, the name is Frosty Paws and it is clearly labeled for dogs. However, humans have actually purchased the item and consumed it, and then they call us afterwards to tell us about it. LOL :D

How long did you wait for Mickey and Minnie to take the picture? We wanted to take pictures with them but the line was too long. We took pictures with Pooh and the dog ( forgot his name). It took about 1.5 hour to get there. With the hot temp., our patience were running very thin. ;D

There used to be this basset hound that would just show up at our door ;D ..I've let him in sometimes to play w/our dog and they were good together. I found him for my ex there in GA b/c someone killed his other dog. When I went to go pick him up, I instantly fell in love so he was really hard to give up. I cried as they drove away... I know it's crazy but I get really attached! :D :D I miss Buddy so much but hopefully I'll be coming down end of month to train & visit him for a weekend. I just don't have time to train & raise another puppy right now. It stresses me out on top of everything else I've got going on. I'm just glad Chloe is pretty good for the most part so if I don't spend as much time with her these days as I should, at least she still listens when I am present. The ex and I are still good friends but he's just always out of town so I haven't been down that ways in a good while...
