I'm very impressed though I can still read Hmong but I can't seem to grasp the writing portion. Writing is like painting, and you paint a very good picture with your choice of words. Love and respect.

Mrs.Vang, your pajhuams are incredible. With your permission I'd like to save them for my inspirations. Btw, I feel like I'm reading poems from Tong Pak Fu. I love Hmong literature but cannot write because my Hmong is very limited. What are the rules to writing Paj Huam? It seems those who can sing Pajhuam knows the secret outlines of writing it. I'd like to learn very much in my very broken Hmong. lol.

Wind, the secret to writing great inspirational poems comes from the heart not the mind. You have to experience what you are writing about (ie heartbreak, lost love, lust, craving, love, hate, etc). Mrs. V has life experience which she can bring out from her heart into written form.
The words she uses compared to mine is black and white. She talks more about kev tu siab. I talk more about lust... ;D

I would never nor could I ever write again. Few ever inspired me,... and only one did it come easy. I don't think i've ever posted any on pebhmong before. I have a website of my poems that i wrote in a time of long ago. I don't remember the password to it, so it'll forever remain the same. :D ;D
I go there from time to time and read. How it made so much sense to me writing it then, but now it makes little sense. Words that aren't even words and sentence that have no real sense. I guess that's true poetry, when only the poet truly understands what he/she is writing. ;D ;D
We had a lot of good poets then, but now only you is left. That's why I want you to continue writing, so that I look forward to stopping in this forum. Though I must say, your hmong poems are very beautiful indeed, extremely deep. But since I can't read hmong too well, I do enjoy your english poems more. Either or, I'd Love to see more.
