I think a lot of people are too afraid or embarrassed to admit they are looking. With our busy lifestyles and inability to socialize with strangers freely or comfortably, such coordinated events wouldn't be a bad idea. I do know some single ladies. If you manage to put one together, hit me up and I'll send them!

Speed dating wasnt bad. Meet new people and if your lucky go on a date. If not just network.
