I moved to Minnesota almost two years ago. I'm in my mid 30s. I have a professional working job. I live by myself and have no kids. Since moving here, I have fancy mostly Hmong bars like Checkers and Unison once in a while, apart from doing my own things. However, I rarely run into the right person that I can share my life with. Previously, I lived in a less dense Hmong population area, but I was still young, had many friends, and still in school. So, it was easier to go out with single friends and mingle to potentially meet someone. For those who are in their 30s, do you find yourself struggling to find someone as I do? I don't have many single friends living in the Twin Cities, so it's hard to meet new people. Most people my age are married with kids as well. So, where do all the single professional working people hangout in the Twin Cities these days or in general? 😅

Don't limit yourself to just Hmong women. Instead of the Hmong bars, hit up any local establishment frequented by people your age.
Try to keep an open mind.
Most importantly though, there's no problem in having a type, but make sure you can offer a potential mate the same or more of what you are looking for. I've seen way too many people wanting filet mignon but could only offer McDonalds in return. Know yourself.

IT is a numbers game. You don't need to be searching or looking for ms right. Just look for ms right now and somehow, somewhere, it will lead you to be stuck with someone.
What this does is it will lessen the stress of finding the right one. I don't know about now due to the pandemic but pre pandemic, mn has so many potentials there and if you are not dating them, another mother effer will like myself. Plus when the cali game comes to mn, it is child's play there. I played there better than I played in cali. Maybe it is the whole idea of the new guy in town, no reputation so my hindsight is better when it comes to and I quote "balls to the walls" :2funny:

Well at least you've gone to Unison and Checkers and Cup'n Cheers and what else is out there. Then you might want to try to seek others like in the arts and entertainment scene, like the fashion shows and music arts thingy they used to do.
But I'm too old for all of that and I think I'm comfortable now, that's me, turning into a hermit.

Lol. I do. I always value quality over quantity. It's been difficult finding someone in your 30s, cuz most people are now married. Also, I work in an industry where there are limited Hmong people here to connect with. I find the only way to potentially meet someone of quality is thru the people you know at this point.

For the party girl, any Hmong bar or restaurant will have something to offer.
For the "I'm not into Hmong guys because I've never met a decent Hmong guy" type, hit up Uptown.

Hi. I've been trying to marry off my single 31/32 yr old sister.
She barely goes out. Just always into working. I don't know if she's even motivated enough to go out and about or talk to anyone. Shes a homebody. She's lived in Minnesota for about 8 years now.
