Billy Graham is a well-respected Christian leader. But one time he asked a boy where a local post office was. After the boy told him
where it was, Graham thanked him and said "If you will come to the convention center this evening, you can hear me telling everyone how to get
to Heaven."
The boy said "I don't think I'll be there. You don't even know your way to the post office."

Billy Graham was probably visiting and not familiar w/ the areas but he's very familiar with going to Heaven. The fact this encounter was shared means something good came out of the experience.

This post isn't about mocking, dude. It is to demonstrate what the post is about. My post title says what the point is: be careful with your moves and words.
The post further says "Billy Graham is a well-respected Christian leader..." That's a praise.
And this post isn't about religion but about respected leader on this point only. You seem to be missing the issue here. I didn't think I would have to explain this much.
Yet we see that the boy does not understand the situation and so the boy turned him down by saying something like that. If Graham had been more careful with his words and moves, he would have
thought much of what the boy might has thought before Graham said something like that. Instead of saying he's telling people how to get to Heaven, perhaps he could have introduced himself and then tell the boy that he's presenting words of God at the convention, etc.

The story came from various sources but also from John C. Maxwell, who teaches leadership.

The boy meant he ain't going to heaven but rather stay on earth. Not all peeps will make it to heaven. That narrow road is darn hard. lol

Any animal can go through the narrow door.
1. Archangel Michael calm the lions down when prophet Daniel was imprisoned.
2. The donkey stopped at the middle of the road when an angel appeared.
3. All animals came to the Ark when God commands them.
But mankind, depending on the heart of men if they willing.
In the Old Testament:
1. Samson disobey his parents and God
2. King Saul disobey God twice.
3. God forgave David but laid a curse on him. Prophet Nathan also told David that God made life hard.
4. During Exodus, the Israelites complained to Moses and worship the golden calf instead of their creator.
In the New Testament:
1. The Pharisees and Sadducees followed the law of Moses however refuse to follow Jesus
2. John baptized people of Jordan while Jesus healed the sick, the lame, and raise the dead. Millions heard Jesus preach. Some do understand and follow him, but some don't and won't follow him.
3. Jesus ask many followers if they willing to sacrifice their lives for Jesus's sake, half of the group back out and the remaining willing to take the stand. The ones that back out heard Jesus's missions, "for those who die for my sake, may live. For those rather save their own lives may lose their own soul." They were afraid.
In modern times, people still do the same thing.

Real Christian can't afford to have such narrow mind. This post is not about you or me or any particular religion group. It's about leadership and credential. Don't be too offended

Not sure if anyone in PH recognizes Billy Graham as a Evalenglist and his megachurch. ;D ;D

Billy Graham is one of my favorite pastors, he is. His message is mostly about the cross and after every sermon, he would call people to accept Christ. It's always so inspiring every time.. The other is Charles Stanley..

I only remember him on tv. I saw him preaching his sermon every early Sunday morning for hours when I was flipping the channels.
