Title: Watching Movies at The Cinema
Post by: Visualmon on August 08, 2022, 09:27:18 PM
Have y'all watched any August 2022 movie at the theater so far? If y'all did please share of your lists and rate them.

I did. I've watched two movies, Jurassic World: Domination and Thor: Love and Thunder.

Jurassic World: Domination
I give it a 5 stars because I like the way they brought back the characters from first movie and blend with the new characters. The dinosaurs live with mankind.

Thor: Love and Thunder
I give it a 3 stars. Subtracted two stars for these reasons, clique heroes save the day and a lot of fightings. I mostly like the humor parts from Thor.

I haven't gone to the movies for years, except in July I decided to watch "Top Gun: Maverick."

But that's not an August movie.

I want to see Bullet Train.

And maybe re-watch the Karate Kid. It’s available now in a theater near me.

What happen to the rating to Bullet Train?  :P

Which Karate Kid are you referring? The first three saga of Daniel-san or the Jackie Chan version?

I never pay attention to ratings.

The very first one. The only one I watched in a theater.

You can watch Karate Kid part one in theater now? Where in the world can I do that?  ;D

One of our Minnesota towns has a theater that plays old movies and repeats them here and there for a reduced admission. Instead of $7.00 to $15.00, for example, you can see "Return of the Jedi" for $3.00 on some weekends.

There's an open-air, outdoor theater that you can drive you car right into the lot to watch a screen, too. (A Hmong lady 10 years older than me wanted to take me there. But I declined because the movie she wanted to watch wasn't that good--despite the big screen... I mean, I don't mind her age at all.  It was just the movie that didn't work for me.)

He could've said "Drive-through theater" then I would've acknowledge that.  :D

There's open air theater in my hometown as well, but nobody came. That's before pandemic.
