What all that stealing says about America

I recently went to my neighborhood drug store in New York City to buy some Tylenol and saw it was locked up on a plastic shelf—as was much of the store’s stock.

We’re used to seeing expensive jewelry secured behind glass or a few items behind convenience store counters, but lately the amount of seemingly ordinary items—soap, ice cream, detergent—locked up in stores—CVS, Best Buy, Home Depot, etc—is increasing. If you don't see this where you live yet, you might soon. Or you might visit parts of America where it has become commonplace.

If I remember the steps correctly, I went to Walmart to buy a simple cheap eye drop that only cost a few bucks, and I have to wait for an associate to open the locked shelves and she has to put it in this plastic container before handing it to me. Then when I get to the check out area, another associate has to open the container so I can scan it and buy it... :idiot2: ???:

...This promotion would not work for me especially on a long flight like so.. ;D:

Southwest Airlines is catching some flack after giving every passenger a ukulele on a flight from Long Beach, Calif. to Honolulu. The airline teamed up with Guitar Center for the promotion, which also included a private lesson where passengers learned how to play the song, "Hello, Aloha.

Just imagine trying to rest or catch a movie on that long flight while all the chaotic racketing is going on... :o

Don't think so but if I happen to pick one of my 2 boys' direct rivals from the NFC and AFC West divisions, and I go down, it won't bother me one bit... ;D

If the goal is just to "be a daddy", there are several options out there and some doesn't even required marriage or even having a partner. However, money will be required with some options. From what I've seen that's universally true is, time, dedication, and resources will be needed if you want to be a good dad.

And for those that doesn't want to deal with newborn, they can do what Suni Lee's dad did, meet up with a woman that already has kids even at the toddler stage, a kid can still considered the man that help raised him/her dad.

California has pretty much always paid much more than the nation for gasoline at the pump, in part due to higher taxes and a more expensive blend of fuel, but an average price that's nearly 70% more than most everyone else in the U.S. is a bit extreme.
