Small city mayors and big major city mayors are completely different. The city where I work at has a population of about 40,000 and the last three (and current) mayors are all schoolteachers and I don’t think they get paid a salary at all. Whereas some big city mayors are the equivalent of state Governors when it comes to responsibility, power, and influence.

One of our local mayors here makes $300.00 a year. But it's a little town. They meet about 6 times a year.

I think the salary varies with the responsibiliti es involved, not with the title.

Never had a crazy Ex...  Majority of them are just 1NiteStand.
Past GFs (50/50) my fault and theirs...
I got dumped by only 3 girls (well I consider only two because the other one was a GF on a dare only). And the two that dump me - live in different state from me during the dating (no Social Media or cell phone back then).

The husband and wife are 30 years apart?

I think physical attraction is a good start... I mean, you would not approach someone unless they are attracted to you. However, the relationship does not end there... it develop from there. And if there's no substance behind the good looking face/body, it won't last. Like tons of people say... beauty don't last.

I met a girl a long time ago. I learned that she kept
breaking up with her then-husbands one after another.

I saw her photo album. She kept her exs' photos in it.

It's not just photos that present issues in the current relationship.
Reciting fond memories of the exs cause issues, too. Imagine telling
your new lover "she was so good at this and you aren't comparable;  he
was great in treating me and you aren't anything like him..."
