at 13, i was driving stolen cars with a loaded gun...yes, i deserved some butt-whooping back then but i was good kid. 

this kid merely played GTA and COD, glad he's home and safe.

Heh.. I had a boss once, who's son worked for our "non profit" public school district. There's a manager between her and her son.  The son reports to this manager, the manager reports to her since our company didn't allow nepotism.  He used to be a golfer before taking on this job so no experience.  His job was to teach 3 blind students how to walk with a cane.  It was a full time job too.  He see these students probably once a week for an hour or two.  The rest of the week, who knows what he does.  They paid for all sorts of training for him too.  I'd say, he probably works 3 hours a week.  That's a great full time job if you asked me.

To deal with bullying, go to the source with your child and you confront them kids.  Tell them that this is your child so he who fawks with kid will also fawk with you.  Use profanity to make a statement cuz kids, especially the little bully ones hearing it from adults will scar them for the rest of their life. 

If that doesn't work, enroll your child into your friend child or their cousins schoolings where they are a few grades older.  They can watch your kids for you and if they know your child has backup, no one gonna fawk with your kids.

They just bring their bullying dad over to kick your azz.

I think Milwaukee doesn't really allow kids to change school in the middle of the school year unless they're going to a worst school than the one they're in already.

I don't know if a good beating is the best solution but this is a good wake up call for the parents to find out why he did what he did and ways to do things differently so this will not happen again in the future.  I also read he was bullied at school and if true, this is a scary thing for young people to endure on their own.

  I can certainly believe bullying in school happens in Milwaukee.  Isn't most of the schools in that town loaded with black kids from the ghettos?  Most white folks moved out of the area and into the suburbs already.

I keep saying, public sector has no real incentive to be efficient and cut costs.  The people on top get all the money, drive the mercedes, bmw's etc.  They don't have to be the best at the job either, they just gotta have the contacts (networking).  When real work needs to be done, administrators can simply hire contractors to do the work for them.  The people at the bottom should just be thankful they still got a job.  This lady dared to question the system.  Result: got herself arrested.

Speaking of ignorance, what is a hyperbole again?  Simply copying and pasting Google answers won't learn you what it means though, you'll have to take a 5th grade class to know.
