Title: believe-in-me, you still into bitcoin??? they down 85% one year to date
Post by: hmgROCK on December 20, 2018, 02:20:42 PM
bitcoin is speculative investment
that's one thing, i don't like about it
and never got into it
i like value investing, where i can get dividend and reinvest those and just keep building and accumulating share/stock
and overtime, it just snowball

but

i do like the idea of the "one world currency" though
so we don't have soo many different kinda of currency and money out there

i like the idea of the one ring (one world currency) to rule them all

lord of the ring references

but right now there just soo many tons of coin and currency out there
i think there now up to 4,000 COINs

don't even get me started on the forex exchange

Tldr:

Using your real world currency(US dollars, CAD, won, euro, etc)
To buy ingame gold coin

Oh.. wow.. Sounds  like it's something that can easily fail or drop in value fast.

these digital gold coin
are not back by anything
just pure speculative
hoping the next dude will pay more for your bitcoin than you

hahahah

unlike your regular stock like apple which paid dividend
and actually make real product that a lot of people like
and generate income and wealth
and hopefully it's stock increase with time as the company gets bigger and better

Money is meant to be spent.  I invest some, but I also enjoy using.

I don't even know if I'll make it to retirement years.  I'll probably die before that, so that's why I spend just as much as I save.

It is giggle money like funny money.

You know that there is one selling at 0.00006 each right now so for $60, you can get a million so hoping for it to hit $1 so you can be a millionaire.

Funny money is like the lottery.  Bet it and forget about it.

cryto was only as good as when people bought the hype.  Anything with no offical backing can be risky.
I know some people who bought into bitcoin and made a fortune like turning 25k into 200k and 5 into 25k, but sadly, the their speculation was off.  Greed and anticipation made them wait longer for a bigger spike, but it never came.  Loss most of their internet $$numbers.

i watch a few people on youtube making purchase using bitcoin
some people can wait up to 15 minutes for it to process
imagine waiting in line at the grocery store for 15 minutes

YMMV

with a tradition credit card/card
the bank just give it to you right away and give you a "pending" credit
and they just take on all the risk and debit you later
plus you get protection like ID theft and etc..

Apple was chit coins back in the days too but this bay area China man bought low n sold high to be a millionaire.

$60 may mean a lot to some but to others, it is still giggle money.  Telling people I own a million coins but refraining from telling them the actual value to each coin.  It may not go as high since people do learned from history but just in case when there is a time in our life that the government puts a shutdown on credit cards company then you will see more alternative form of payments be popping up.  Bold prediction but same can be said for the government shutdown.

Never in my wildest dreams where federal workers are lining up with homeless people to collect their food pantry.  Did the nostrldumas sees it coming?  No one saw it.  The high and mighty government workers be thinking that they hit the jackpot because they are government workers and it should be a secured job that most people wants.

Never know is what I say.  Who sees the big player like pg&e giant filing for bankruptcy like 10 years ago?  Will the government steps in and own the utility companies to do a better job to help regulate?

Buying into uncertainty and I'm not going broke over buying it either.  Crying over $60 wager?   Come on man.

$60 is like 30 nab vam or 7 chicken thighs and sticky rice w/ special hot sauce to dip.

At the height, bitcoin was taking days to process a transaction.  This guy I met online said it took him two weeks. Geez!  By that time your value would have gone way up or way down.

First of all newbie investor, I was talking about blockchain technology, NOT bitcoin.

Keep laughing newbie, that's what the naysayers all said about AMAZON back in the day. So glad that I didn't listen. Oh, and by the way, when Apple stocks were incredibly low because Microsoft was the shit, yeah, I bought Apple too.

Good investors have patience. They understand growth. They understand the direction of technology. They understand consumers. And they understand themselves first.

You're one of those fools that Dave Ramsey always talk about. You speak the lingo, act like you're really smart, but some of us just do and we reap great rewards.

Bitcoin is actually good to make quick easy money.

Due to its volitility you can make quick daily cash.

Ive made a whopping 10 dollars a day and just move it over my dollar account.

But i am only investing 250 bucks.

But it reallt is easy to make alot of money, if you watch it daily you will see it goes up and down around 1000 weekly.

So yes it is an easy way to make money.  Give it a shot folks.

I think I may just eventually be a day trader with regular stocks.

Who wants to work forever right?!?

Go look at bitcoin, lets just say you had 10000 dollars laying around and you bought btc a week ago.  In july 31st it was about 9500.  Today it is 12000 as I am typing.  No need to wait for the big pay day, just sell and net that 2500 bucks.  Thats easy quick money.

Thats pretty good for just looking at the computer screen.

Today I am up 22 bucks, ill wait to see if it starts dropping before I transfer it over.

That is the one downside of BitCoin.

I would just say use one of the other popular cryto that has a faster transaction time.

Just apply the same concept.

Becuase you are not making money from mastercard and visa.

I dont think everyone is into bitcoin so they can use that cryto to pay for things.

Some are just trading it like regular currency/stocks to make money by converting it back to dollars.
