we can also say that PH is also becoming a ranting ground as well but i'm not going to go into that...
I figured I don't really have to explain myself but since I have some time today here it goes:
I'm just speaking in general so it may or may not pertain to you just as your post. Sometimes I thank the cyber god that I do not know anyone personally on here or have to deal with them outside of PH with only a few exception of those that I actually met in real life and made lifelong virtual friendship with.
like that old grumpy cousin bil of mine who doesn't understand why we travel for the food and for the adventure of it all...Food has a knack for bringing people together, forging bonds and creating conversation aka Food brings us together...w/ the diversity of people, comes the diversity of food. And while I still can, I'm going to eat what I want and experience the different tastes of food.
I enjoy reading and viewing people's food post as it's an adventure in itself.

anyway last night, as I got home, I forgot that I haven't grocery shop in over a few weeks now so I had no meat to cook for dinner...I had a craving for fish and so I yelped the closest restaurant that serves fish in my area, and found out it was just right across the street from me
went to try it out for the first time...would I go back? probably not...it was a Mexican restaurant that's catered for meskas dawb folks. Although I had to say the ceviche was pretty good.

i got some venison that i just recenty kill
got a few salmon, lake trout, whitebass, smelt, crappie, bluegill in the freezer too

The hmong youth these days, they travel too but only to events like edm concerts and what not.
My last edm event was in reno like just a few weeks ago. I was expecting to see white folks but I kid you not ,all them reno casinos were loaded with hmong kids. They go in bunches and plenty more at the edm event. It was like a hmong new years event.
This is not a complaint but an observation.

Speaking of edm events, when did they started having an all-age event? I kid you not, my sister and brother in law took their teen son, middle schooler and 4th grader to see that artist Grffyn a couple of weeks ago. :o

I've seen this guy a few months back too in sf and I think his show is junk. Ended midnight or was it 10pm? I forgot cuz all age group they tend to end shows early for curfew.
When you have to do an all age, it means your show is bunk and without the support of little kids, it will be an empty house.
