Bizarre case but some people are gaming the system.

Like if you need medical to cure cancer but it cost too much, go to jail and hopefully, by the time you are out, you will get the care you need at tax payer's expense.

Jail is like 3 meals per day, a roof over your head, free medical, why not right?

Heard in japan, 20% in jail are elders.  Talking about a retirement plan is to go to jail.

These cases are popping up all over.  When life on the outside is hard enough, going to jail seems like an answer.  There was a case where the husband wanted to go jail because his wife and children will then be qualify for welfare food stamps.  When he got out, he did a stunt where he goes back to jail.  This is the father of the year award to me.  He knew he can not support his family so he sacrificed himself for the sake of his family.

You know how it is.  Our elders be teaching us to save your money, be frugal and that is the secret to becoming rich.  They even show you a picture of Warren Buffet or guys like Mark Zuck from facebook who be wearing frugal tee shirt and drives second hand used vehicles.  Why are they being frugal when they are worth billions?

Don't be a hmoobrock because we got our priorities backwards.  Let me use an example.  Lets say you only make $10,000 a year salary.  That's poor status right?  So what do the poor do?  They be frugal and buy cheap stuff or not buying stuff at all.  By doing all of that cut cost savings, you are still poor at the end of the day.   You are still worth $10k.  So where is this saying that you have to be frugal like them rich people to become rich?

The reality is that marK zuck be wearing tee shirt and that is all that we see  him wearing is some cheap tee shirt.  What we failed to realized is that his tee shirt cost $500 a piece.  Did you also know that amazon guy jeff bezos drives a honda accord?   Well these rich guys can be seen shopping at cheap stores and wearing cheap clothing and driving cheap cars because they can do it by CHOICE.  The poor do not have a choice so they have to be frugal.

So the lesson for the hmoobrock and the likes is stop being frugal if you want to become rich.  This is why vietnam was once a poor country because everyone be saving their money and not spending it so the economy suffers.  To become rich, you have to increase your income.  it is that simple.  Saving money through buying cheap stuff is a game that poor people play.  If you want to be rich, don't play like the hmoobrock is the moral of the story here.   :2funny:

young kids might not remember to who she is.  She was a part of my growing up as an X generation.  Did not know she was fighting cancer.  No wonder she was out of the limelight for all them years.
