Title: how much money did u spend over the holidays...?
Post by: flint-rod on January 03, 2019, 01:19:44 PM: 4.6k... and i didn't even go anywhere... :'( luckily i have the funds saved ready to pay my credit card company... the nice thing is i have 1k in cash back bonuses that i will receive here in march sometime... u?

Like every year, I have a separate budget for holiday gifts. I try to never go over $1k.
So far, and it's been 15yrs ... I budget perfectly under $600.

The holidays are all about being together with families ... appreciating being healthy and alive. And I make sure my kids know it's not about getting gifts. This was instilled in them since infancy.
